Exhibeo Art Competitions are dedicated to discovering exceptional artists that we can write about in Exhibeo Art Magazine. Maybe you're just such an artist. All you need to do is sign up for our online art competitions, showcase your talent and see where that takes you.
Our mandate is simple: we write about artists and the art they produce. Now, there are lots of artists out there. That's why we set up regular art competitions: they function as a portal of discovery. Artists that have distinguished themselves in our open competitions get written about. Simple.
Now, here's the thing: there are legitimate art reviews and vanity art reviews. People who are seriously passionate about art can immediately tell the difference. A legitimate art review or interview is built upon the quality of the work. You can't fake that. However subjective art appreciation may be, good art in any genre always stands out. That's the kind of art that warrants a legitimate art review. That's the kind of art we're interested in writing about.
A vanity art review involves artists paying someone money to write nice things about them and their work. More often than not, both the quality of the art and the accompanying art review leave much to be desired. We wish to distance ourselves from that business model from the onset. That is not what we do.
Here at Art Exhibeo, you have to compete and distinguish yourself. If your work is awesome, it will rise above the fray, and we'll want to write about it enthusiastically, but on our own terms.
That said, our art competitions are very beneficial for artists seeking exposure and reputable endorsement. Exposure and endorsement lead to increased public recognition. Public recognition enhances your artistic reputation.
Exposure + Endorsement + Enhanced Reputation = Powerful Tools to sell your Art.
So, whatever level you have already achieved in your career, our competitions will give you a nice boost in these areas and further your status in the art community.
Artists who have dealt with us are overwhelmingly positive about the experience. You can read their testimonials here.
Being able to point to a win or honorable mention in a significant art competition on your résumé is always important. However, being able to point people to press coverage is an ultimate achievement in generating respect and increasing your worth.
Meaningful press coverage is incredibly gratifying and empowering for an artist. It is the ultimate vehicle allowing you to tell your story to the world: who you are, what you do, and why you do it. Each of you who win First Place, in any of our competitions, will be interviewed in depth, with a full spread of your work. A professional team will work to get you exposure and help you take full advantage of winning the competition. Those of you who win Second and Third place will receive an extensive review of your work. We take the time to probe your oeuvre by visiting your website and carefully studying your art. We are keen on understanding what you do and placing it in the broader context of Art History.
Public Recognition and Visibility
Exhibeo Art Competitions exist primarily to provide you with an opportunity to introduce us to you and your work. There are over 20 million contemporary artists creating art all over the world right now. Let that number sink in and you will appreciate the importance of distinguishing yourself in as many ways as you can. While that task may seem daunting, your participation in our competitions is integral to moving you, your art, and your name forward. We are here to help hone your message. Winning any recognition here is a spring-board for new opportunities.
Here’s a partial list of what we do to enhance those opportunities for you and increase your visibility. First, Second, and Third place winners are announced in our monthly newsletter that is sent out to our extensive contact list. This will drive traffic to your site and put your name and artwork in front of a diverse group of art aficionados, collectors, and others with influence. All inquiries by third parties about you and your work are referred directly to you.
First place winner will also have an in-depth interview published in Exhibeo Art Magazine including multiple images of your body of work. This is something you can publicize to great advantage forever.
There are many benefits for winners. Among the most important would be increased traffic to your website, elevated credibility in the art circles, and your own increased sense of belonging in this profession. Of course, galleries and art collectors are always more interested in artists with more exhibits and awards in their resumes. This can lead to more sales and to higher prices over the life of your career.
The Cash Prizes
Art Exhibeo offers cash prizes for select art competitions. If a cash prize is included, the amounts to be allocated to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be stated in the competition prospectus.
The Entry Fee
We recommend that if you are submitting multiple images, that you maintain cohesiveness in that group. We are always more enlightened as to your level of proficiency when we see a sense of direction and styling that is “your own”. If you are known for a certain medium, style, and palette, let us see your best examples and refrain from showing us an oil painting, watercolor, and a graphite of three different genres.
The entry fee is payable by Paypal, and must be paid after uploading your images. You will then be redirected to proceed to checkout. There are four options:
- 1 image for $15
- 3 images for $30
- 5 images for $45.
- 10 images can be submitted by applying twice with 5 images - $90.
All payments are final and non-refundable. All payments are to be made in US dollars (USD).
