What is Exhibeo Art Magazine?
Exhibeo Art Magazine is an online publication that highlights exceptional contemporary artists. Our mandate, and our passion, is to bring artists into a broader dialogue not only with the contemporary art scene – galleries, collectors and other artists - but also within the context of the history of art. You are part of the history of art. We explore that.
We do this very effectively by creating an environment that gives thought, time, and valuable space on this site to explore the nuances. We take a serious approach in order to discover and reflect to our readers an in-depth reflection of an artist’s intentions - the raison d'être – at the center of all artistic endeavors. And then, with great reverence, we share it widely to the art community and beyond.
This unique approach means Exhibeo Art Magazine truly combines the best of two worlds. On the one hand, our online publication allows us to do what the internet does best: reach masses of people all over the world quickly and efficiently. On the other hand, we push the boundaries and dive deeply into your imagery and your imagination to find the core that sparks the viewers of your work and share that in an intimate format.
How to become featured in Exhibeo Art Magazine?
Exhibeo Art Magazine features artists discovered through our open call to artists. Artists who earn the coveted spot as the first place winner get more than our cash prize. That artist is then featured in an in-depth interview published with Exhibeo Art Magazine. We fully contextualize the artist’s work in the broader context of art history. We find the context and juxtapose that with an intimate narrative of the artist's personal journey in the studio. We chase after the soul of our artists.
Furthermore, Exhibeo Art Magazine embraces and is dedicated to the nearly lost art of art criticism with regularly featured columns like “Once Upon a Time in Art History”. There, we focus on the artists that shaped and molded art and history. In addition, we publish, “Tales from the Art Stratosphere” which takes a critical look at the upper echelons of the contemporary art scene. Every artist should take time to explore these two thoughtful publications.
We are also interested in what other artists, critics and bloggers have to say about art, artists, and the business of making and selling art. These are featured in “Online Art Prose (&Cons)”. We also welcome well written, researched and properly sourced third party contributions, so if you love art and want to write about it, be sure to check out our article submissions page.
